Cinematheque
is the platform f or streaming media project environments in the framework
of The Network. It started in 2002 with Cinema_A, which was featuring
MediaCentre Summer Festival and in 2003 two editions of “Winter
Streams”, in November 2003 Cinema_B launched its first edition
of “Slowtime - Quicktime as an artistic medium” and completed
these series with the 4th edition in 2004. Cinema_A and Cinema_B are
presenting about 100 artists who deal with filmic streaming media in
most individual ways.
As the first global museum of contemporary art it is developed, curated
and directed by Wilfried Agricola de Cologne who is also the founder
and director of [NewMediaArtprojectNetwork]:||cologne.
